Dreamwidth is STILL causing me to double post on LJ. I want to post to LJ, DW and IJ using Semagic. I like it better than the DW interface. However, any time I do it double posts on to my LJ page. (Not the IJ, just LJ)

This happened a while back but then it got fixed somehow. Anyone know what to do? This is driving me INSANE.

This is an incredible Supernatural AU. It really an amazing bit of writing when you can take Sam and Dean, completely remove them from their history and surroundings, give them a new background that effects everything about them - from their mission in life to their very speech patters - and yet somehow fundementaly still be Sam and Dean. Its pretty rockin' dude.

I'm rather mystified at how I missed this when it came out in December. I'm big fan of vamphile's work and usually try to break my finger clicking when a new story comes out. But RL was just a mess then and I guess this one slipped by me. Poor me. Cause I was missing out. vamphile always has such a mature, clear style that just really fit J2 stories for me. While I love me some schmoop, this is not quite it. Its a highschool *and* college AU. Most of these kinds of J2 AUs are either very schmoopy or very angsty - this is neither. There is heart and family and friendship. There is desire and devotion and understanding. But as I said, its got a mature quality to it that I find refreshing. (I'm gonna spoil you a bit here, but I doubt its anything you wouldn't expect.) Jared has a crush on Jensen. Jensen eventually gives into his mutual crush. A relationship develops. But they aren't the end-all, be-all of each other's worlds. They both are mature adults (however young) and know they won't *die* without the other. But they do love. They do want. I'm not sure if I'm describing this well so I'll just say that I very much enjoyed spending my evening in this little world.

Uh, so, duh- spoilers if you click.

You know that sound you make when you flatten out your lips and blow air through? That almost moterboat sound that lets everyone know you've entered a moment of hopeless exasperation? Well, I'm pretty much doing that now.

A while back, I created ou_peachus_too to put title tags to the fics I talk about because I ran out of tag space on this journal. LJ only lets you have 1200 individual tags. Which is still more than IJ and DW, but not enough. And now I've already reached over a 1,000 title tags on there. While RL has been kicking my ass and my reading time has been severely cut down, I'm still pretty sure I'll be reaching the max pretty soon.

So now I guess I'm going to have to create a new journal as a continuation of the tag search. The point of all this? I can't decide what I want to name it. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I just recently found this after loosing it for almost a year. I am going to reread it, but I was afraid something might happen and I'd loose it again. I don't remember everything about it, but I know -even after a year - I really really liked it. It is a very unusual AU. Well, for the J2 fandom, that is. Growing up I read massive amounts of those trashy historical romances. Jude Deveraux, Johanna Lindsey, Madeline Baker (especially Madeline Baker) - writers like that. This totally reminded me of those implausible yet utterly addictive stories. Except the sex was way better because it *didn't* fade to black and there are no heaving bosoms. There is, however, an incredibly charming and funny use of Micheal Rosenbaum that I think might not be too far off the mark of his RL personality. ... Ok, so I had to check the link to refresh my memory to write this. That was *before* I was late for work. And now I'm late. Because it totally sucked me right back in! Its plotty and long and epic. And by the numbers of comments, I'm sure everyone has read it, but it deserved to be posted anyway.

But there are thousands of touches in a lifetime - and just maybe that changes things. and then Time has passed, the boys are still hunting together and growing impossibly closer. An accident changes things for both of them bringing about challenges and feelings they'd never thought they'd face. There is just something about a hurt or damaged Winchester that nails you in the gut, right? Of course, anyone that knows me would know that I would be a total sucker for this story because it has one of my all time favorite 'kinks' in it. John finding out about the boys being together. That just thrills me over and over.

Does anyone have links for fics where any of the boys (Sam, Dean, Jared or Jensen) is dyslexic or simply can't read? It doesn't have to be the main point of the story, just included enough that it is more than a simple mention. I recently read this by poor_choices and it has my interest.

Now, they don't have to be great, just not horrible. I mean, great is better, but I'm more concerned with the concept here than anything else.

If you think of any, would you drop the title and link as a comment? I'd super appreciate that. I know, if I don't find it here I'll go over to spnstoryfinders, but I'm lazy today. :D

I am not a fan of Danneel's. I don't mean I don't like her, I mean I am not her fan. I don't watch One Tree Hill and I've never really seen her act. I'm Jensen's fan. However, like a lot of people I follow her Tweets. And I have to say after following her for a while I think I *have* become a fan of hers. She's smart and saucy. She takes the online attacks against her, doesn't back down or get nasty. She then tries to be nice to Jensen's fans - because she knows many people are following her because of him- and posts pics of him. And still takes attacks. She fights back to Ted's Awful Truth, but with class and laughter.

So, yeah. I just had to stay that. I have a twitter account just to follow tweets - I don't actually tweet myself. But I posted like 5 yesterday just on this topic.
