Or at least about my journal. Pretty much what the title says - Peachus, Fangirl I love to read fanfic and then I love to *squee* about it on my journal. And it seems that some times people agree with my *squee*ing, (Dude, how awesome is that?!?) so I've tried to Tag everything. I have a lot of tags. If you're here to look for some links to great reads try going to my Tags Page to search. Sometimes people leave comments that make me think 'huh, I should probably do something about that. So I figured I would put in a little statement here addressing any 'details' that might be of interest to others. You didn't list the pairing on your rec! *blinks* Really? You need that? So no worries, I'll be sure to tell you if the context is *not* homoerotic, k?Ok, fine. If I say its about Sam and Dean then 99% of the time its going to be Sam/Dean Wincest. If it is about Jared and Jensen it is *always* going to be slash or at the very least pre-slash. Are you going to spoil me? I try not to. I always try to put anything about the current or coming season(s) behind cuts. The link isn't working/is F-locked! I'm a librarian and have always enjoyed reading. However, after I was handed a thick stack of neatly printed white pages, that turned out to be a copy of one of Chelle's Buffy/Angel sagas, those shiny bound books in the library no longer held any temptation for me. I spent too much time in Buffy (and not enough in RL), but I reveled in every word of it. Eventually, again thanks to my Baby Bro, I was yanked kicking and screaming into Harry Potter's world. (Then it become moaning and laughter, but whatever.) I spent many long years in both of those fandoms before tiptoeing out for something more. When Joss's Firefly emerged I thought for sure I'd have a new love. Alas, as much as I love it and as much as the fics I liked were really good, there just isn't enough out there to keep me satisfied. Then came Supernatural. ~*insert HUGE OMG FANGIRL *SQUEEE*~ I found 'it' again. That thing that makes your fingers yearn to find the next scene of angst or gut twisting sap or real laugh out laugh outlandish humor. Wincest or J2 fics satisfy that craving so nicely. Those boys are of amazing hotness. ~~Age Statement~~ Sadly, I am not actually a fan*girl* anymore. As of now, I'm 32. *sigh* FRIENDING Anyone can friend me. Please do. If for no other reasong than it makes me feel all *special*. (Look Ma, she's got friends! Come on, you *know* it makes you feel good when you see you're a new addition to someone's flist.) I mostly only friend people who write fanfiction. I do this so I can have easy access to new fic on my friends list. If you friend me and I don't friend you back please don't feel bad! I just use friending as a tool, that's all. It doesn't mean that I don't like you or that I'm not reading your journal! Also, I may de-friend you. Is that the right word? If your journal becomes more about other things than fanfiction. It is in NO way personal. Again, it only means I'm using friending as a tool.
